COMMUNITY CONSULTATION
The community consultation period for the Georges River Council’s “Draft Open Space, Recreation and Community Facilities Strategy” opened on December 3rd 2018, and will close on Sunday 7th April 2019*. Go to this update post to read the Draft Strategy document and have your say before 7th April*, to ensure a pool is retained at Carss Park. We need as many people as possible to make a comment on this to indicate that Carss Park Pool is needed by the community.

Also consider writing to your local State and Federal Government members and shadow ministers. In particular, Chris Minns, Labor member for Kogarah, represents the area where Carss Park Pool is located.
The more letters they receive, the more they will realise that the community is passionate about this issue, and are likely to advocate for Carss Park Pool’s survival.
Rebuild Carss Park Pool 
Carss Park Pool needs to be preserved for the sake of the community. There is a rich history of this pool and it’s an icon. Well used and loved, please keep it for generations to come.

Carss Park Pool Supports and supplies much needed storage & facilities to the Carss Park Radio Sailing Club, without it we could not exist.

I am sick and tired with people not preserving historical sites, its about time others wake up and stop building and erecting something that is really not necessary. Carss Park Pool is an icon and is important to the community. I’ve used this pool when I was younger and I feel its important to the generations ahead.
If you destroy Carss Park Pool for a car park, when will you stop?
