10,000 Petition Signatures to be Presented to Council this Monday 25th March

OUR “SAVE CARSS PARK POOL” PETITION WILL BE PRESENTED TO COUNCIL ON MONDAY 25th March
– BE THERE TO SUPPORT CARSS PARK POOL

We have now gathered over 10,000 petition signatures in total; over 5,600 online and the rest on paper.  This is a FANTASTIC achievement ! Heartfelt thanks to everyone.

Come along and join us on Monday 25th March at 7.00pm to present these signatures to Georges River Council at the March Ordinary Council Meeting.

In addition, the Councillors will consider and vote on a motion from Cr Landsberry to subsidise the operation of the pool until its fate is determined. We need to keep the pool open. If it is closed it will be difficult to maintain the momentum for the “Save Carss Park Pool” campaign.

The presence of supporters at the meeting will help the Councillors vote in our favour.

Your presence is VITAL to reinforce how strongly the community feels about keeping Carss Park Pool. Bring your kids, as this is all about our kids’ future.  Wear your goggles around your neck to really make a splash!
